This is not necessarily the ONLY way to do Step 4, but I’ve found that it worked pretty well for me for the following reasons:
- It’s formatted based on the Big Book (Alcoholics Anonymous book) and also based on the Addiction Recovery manual
- It breaks things down from the core issues – Resentments, then Fears, then Sexual Harms Done, then other harms done
- It helped me, and continues to help me, really see where my addiction really STARTS – with resentments, fears, boredom, pride, etc.
