Step 5 Question – Confessing to God

By N

Most of us feel fear and an unwillingness to take step 5. How can confessing your sins to God give you courage and strength eventually to confess to another person?

I’m grateful I’ve been able to write down a thorough inventory thus far. Confessing my sins to God has definitely helped me gain strength and courage to confess to another person. I no longer am really nervous about talking about things with my bishop and another trusted person because I feel that it’s God’s will that I take these steps towards full recovery.

I’ll write more about this today after I meet with Jason.
