What have you learned about the Savior that has helped or influenced your desire or ability to change your behavior?
One of the greatest things I’ve learned about the Savior through this program is that He’s there waiting to help if I’m willing to submit my will to Him and ask.
I’ve learned that prayer is a lot more powerful than I once thought – just a simple “I need help, please help me…” can work wonders to help fight off temptation.
I’ve learned that the there is nothing that a person can’t overcome IF they submit their will to God and His Son Jesus Christ.
I’ve learned that the Atonement is something I need to work on EVERY DAY of my life, not only for sins committed but also for character weaknesses and desires.
I’ve learned and re-learned that the Gospel of Jesus Christ provides a path that, if I follow, will lead me to true happiness; it’s not really complex, it’s all about the little simple things, the seminary answers really are the key to overall spiritual success.

I can’t sum it up too much more than that.
I have learned that Coming Unto to Christ is a PROCESS, not just something I say, “Ok, I’ll do that…” and it’s done. No matter how much I want to come unto Christ, I feel it’s all about consistency and time: if I’m consistent over time doing the little things, when I see Him one day I’ll know exactly who He is because I’ll have become like Him.
I’ve learned that this program is just like LIFE in general – not something you just do for 12 weeks and then you’re cured. It’s something you work and re-word for the rest of your life; it’s the best “step by step” guide on life that I’ve read because it really does break it down in to steps I can follow for a variety of problems I have.
I’ve learned that Christ will never throw in the towel on me – he’s always there waiting at the door if I will open it. The way I open the door is through the little things: personal prayer, scripture study, working the program, serving others, and following promptings of the Spirit.
I’m grateful for this ongoing knowledge and look forward to what I write about the next time around!
Hasta Luego!
