Taking Things One Step at a Time in Recovery

By N Leave a Comment

Yesterday I studied about surrendering to God. Today I have about 10 minutes before I have to leave for an appointment, and I’m feeling the stresses of everything coming down on me before we leave for Wisconsin.

I want to make a list of the things that are stressing me out and then break them down into what I can do next:

  • The U Meeting tomorrow
  • The Red Zone mobile
  • The DEP project
  • The Health Sciences Project
  • BDT
  • Absolute
  • GoEpic
  • Bids
    • BC
    • S. Hill
    • JP
    • P. Allen
  • KP work
  • Lacey Project
  • Getting paid on FS stuff
  • Getting projects completed for FS
    • VA
    • InterMTN
    • Saratoga
  • Lawn project & pricing
  • Getting my physical and all that taken care of today
  • Jasmine meeting
  • Organizing office
  • My new sponsee Spencer
    • didn’t hear from him yesterday

So, there’s the list.

Now the next one thing I can do for each of these things:

The U Meeting tomorrow: put together a PPT that goes over what we’ve accomplished and what’s next

The Red Zone mobile: send an email to Michelle and team stating that the search and cart features should be working now

The DEP project: follow up with (email) Devin on the notes I sent last night via email

The Health Sciences Project: put together a detailed work order

BDT: text Ciara to see what they need, if anything

Absolute: review emails to see what they need (meet the experts project, htaccess edit for www vs non www)

GoEpic: text Ciara to see what’s needed

Bids (BC): start compiling the information I’ve collected

Bids (S. Hill): start compiling the information I’ve collected

Bids (JP): text follow up

Bids (P. Allen): start compiling the information I’ve collected

KP Work: go to the meeting with her today

Lacey Project: email her about add-on prices, confirm with Bryan what those will take time wise, include my project management fees of 15%

Getting paid on FS stuff: email Russ

Getting projects completed for FS: email Kenny

Lawn project & pricing: review bid the guys sent

Getting my physical and all that taken care of today: just do it

Jasmine meeting: call authorize back to follow up on subscription

Organize office: not much right now

My new sponsee Spencer: nothing, it’s in his court

Well, that feels better.

I’m grateful to be aware of what I can do.

Now, I’ll head to my meeting and chip away at this stuff today.

I’ll keep this scripture in mind today:

And see that all these things are done in wisdom and order; for it is not requisite that a man should run faster than he has strength. And again, it is expedient that he should be diligent, that thereby he might win the prize; therefore, all things must be done in order. (Mosiah 4:27)

Hasta luego!

Nate
