Should I Share This Site More Openly?

By N

Since I work in social media and online marketing, I’ve been often tempted to share articles I’ve written about my experiences on Facebook, Twitter and other networks.

As I learned on my mission, I’m not afraid to open my mouth and share the good news.

However, there’s a part of me that hesitates, especially since this site is about my recovery process in my addictions.

What will people think?

How will my relationship with people change?

I’m sure it will.

Another thought I’ve had is sharing my site with people at out recovery meeting. I’d love to get more interaction here, more comments, and more open discussion about what is helping each of us on a day to day basis.

I feel this site can be a way I put Step 12 into practice.

One of the things I’m going to do tomorrow is talk to the missionaries and share with them what I’ve been doing. I may even write my address on the sign-up sheet at the meeting.
