My Gratitude Journal – Day 22

By N

Today was a great day. I woke up early, played basketball, came back, worked on Step 3, got cleaned up, and went to work.

I’ve noticed that this step, Step 3, is quite a bit longer than the other steps so far. Definitely will need to dedicate time to working it thoroughly.

I’m grateful that we got to finish decorating the tree tonight with the kids.

I’m grateful we had a picnic in the living room and watched “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

I’m grateful that I got to meet with Karen and help her with her website project.

I’m grateful we made a sale of her product.

I’m hopeful we’ll make more.

I’m grateful to be married to Becky and have the children we have.

I’m grateful she’s been working on forgiving me.

She seemed to be so happy today and I’m grateful for that too.

I’m grateful that I tried my best to not overreact too much to the kids fighting tonight. I’m grateful that I tried to resolve the problem and get things cleared up – it seemed to work. I will continue to work on this.

I’m grateful to have great friends.

I’m grateful to be in recovery today.

I’m grateful the baby seems healthy and strong.

I’m grateful to have gotten to bed earlier tonight.

I’m grateful to not have visitors here this week.

I’m grateful we’re going to finish part of the basement.

I’m grateful for the good contacts I have to help with this.

Today was a good day.

Hasta manana!

Nate
