How to Not Get Casual in Recovery

By N

This is a question that comes to mind from time to time in my recovery from addiction to pornography:

What are things I can do to avoid getting casual in my recovery?

I feel this is an important question, one that Satan probably doesn’t want me to think about.

A few scriptures come to mind:

  1. The one about being led “carefully down to hell”
  2. The story of Captain Moroni and how he was always fortifying his cities to protect them from his enemies (in my case, Satan and his addictive traps)

I’m headed to a meeting now, but I plan to listen to a talk by Elder Oaks titled, “Be Not Deceived.”

I’ll write more after my meeting.
